Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris Are Engaged

Sorry, ladies. Jensen Ackles is off the market.

The Supernatural hunk and his longtime girlfriend, One Tree Hill star Danneel Harris are engaged, TVGuide.com has confirmed.

After dating for three years, the 31-year old actor and 30-year-old actress are planning to tie the knot, reps for the actors tell us. They have been friends for nearly a decade and co-starred together in the 2007 romantic comedy Ten Inch Hero.

Dexter's Julie Benz stars on one of the most violent dramas on TV but the blood usually comes only at the hands of her on-screen husband, Dexter Morgan. In her new film, The Boondock Saints II: All Saints Day, Benz finds herself right in the middle of the action.

"I actually got to play with guns!" Benz says.

Although Benz had never seen the original 1999 film, she immediately gravitated toward the part of southern belle FBI agent Eunice Bloom. "[Writer-director] Troy Duffy wrote this really amazing woman," Benz says. "She's not a victim or a love interest; she's like a guy but still a woman. That's what I really loved about her."

In theaters Friday, The Boondock Saints II reunites most of the original film's cast and crew, with the exception of Willem Dafoe as FBI agent Paul Smecker. Enter Dexter's leading lady. "I had some big shoes to fill with Willem Dafoe," she says. "Eunice is a protégé of [Smecker's], so I wanted to maybe steal a couple of things he does here and there."

Benz, 39, enjoyed playing a role so different from her TV persona but that doesn't mean Rita will be leaving Miami anytime soon. If anything, Benz says her film roles between the show's 12-episode seasons have helped her breathe new life into Rita.

Dexter: Death and surprises at every turn

"When you play a character as long as I have played Rita, she starts to live in you. The character's memories are your memories and she's kind of just there," Benz says. "So then to go off and play other characters; it's nice to stretch other muscles and try new things."

As for her alter ego, Benz says Rita and Dexter will begin trying new things as they begin to deal with their marital problems, and particularly Rita's recent discovery of Dexter's apartment.

Are Callie and Arizona going to make it on Grey's Anatomy this season? They don't seem as intimate as Callie was with Dr. Hahn. — Rachel
ADAM: Just because we haven't seen Callzona's sexy time on-screen, there's no reason to believe the ladies have intimacy issues. "I'm sure they've done that. I mean, come on!" Sara Ramirez tells us. Ramirez does, however, see potential speed bumps ahead. "They will deal with some very universal relationship-type issues," she says. "I'm kind of nervous for Callie — she's never been this happy for so long. Something's going to happen."

Andre Braugher was fantastic on the House season premiere. Any chance he'll return if House needs more counseling? — DeeBee
MICKEY: He won't be, since he's landed on a new show, Men of a Certain Age, with Ray Romano and Scott Bakula, which debuts on TNT in December. That said, House executive Katie Jacobs speaks very highly of Braugher and told us she'd love to figure out a way to bring Dr. Nolan back into the fold.

Oct.13's Heroes may have been overshadowed by Claire's random lesbian kiss, but for me the best parts were the ones with Emma and Peter. Please tell me we're going to see a lot more of Emma's beautiful power. — Samantha D.
ADAM: I got an emphatic yes from creator Tim Kring, who promises that the crack Emma made in her wall is the just the beginning of what she's capable of with all those magical colors. Kring also says a certain carnival leader will take an interest in Emma's power once he sees its value to his still-unclear plan.

Any scoop on Desperate Housewives? — Jennifer
MICKEY: It's hard being a kid, especially one who grows up on Wisteria Lane. This might explain the shocking news that one of our Desperate Offspring is soon to be admitted to the hospital to have his or her stomach pumped. Was it an accident or a suicide attempt? I know you think you know who it is, but you don't.

In dealing with Angel's death, Flack has been a different character this season. How will his downward spiral play out on CSI: NY? — Clarisse
ADAM: Things are going to get worse before they get better. Executive producer Pam Veasey tells me that Flack will continue to fall until he hits emotional rock bottom. It's only then that, with the help of friends and an unlikely ally, Flack will bounce back.

I have this feeling like Nate Kendall is going to pop up again on Law & Order: SVU — can you confirm or deny? — Iris
MICKEY: I can do neither, and I'll tell you why. I'm getting official denials all around, but more than one source has told me that Wentworth Miller's time on SVU isn't done, and that a surprise reappearance is in the works for later in the season. This time, all those fireworks with Benson will express themselves differently.

NCIS, Grey's Anatomy

NCIS, Grey's Anatomy, and Fringe are the most hotly anticipated returning fall shows, according to TVGuide.com's TV Team research panel.

Fall TV: See where your favorite shows left off last season

NCIS ended last season with fan favorite Ziva (Cote De Pablo) bruised and battered after being taken hostage by terrorists. Fan anticipation is centered on who exactly took Ziva prisoner, how long she will be held captive, and whether or not her loyalty still lies with NCIS.

Grey's will resolve its season-ending cliffhanger, which found both George (T.R. Knight) and Izzie (Katherine Heigl) battling for their lives. Fringe will have to straddle two realities after introducing in the finale an alternate universe that features, among other things, the World Trade Center's Twin Towers still standing.

L Word Spawns Reality Series

Since that L Word spin-off died before it even hit the ground, Showtime is taking a different approach to serving its same-sex-oriented audience: a reality show.

The network has ordered nine episodes of The Real L Word: Los Angeles, which will chronicle the lives of six lesbians, Variety reports. (Think Real Housewives with lesbians.)

"Even though we concluded our sixth season of The L Word on Showtime this past March, I believe we are not nearly finished telling our L Word stories," creator Ilene Chaiken said. "Showtime has yet again come forward to continue with us this mission to entertain and enlighten and bring more 'L' to the world."

The series is dependent on casting, and if all goes well, The Real L Word will premiere next year.

The CW is kicking off its new Buffy The Vampire Slayer Diaries series with a very fitting marketing campaign — a blood drive.The "Starve a Vampire. Donate Blood" initiative, which began Aug. 25 and runs for five weeks, will hit up more than 230 high schools and college campuses across the nation. It encourages students to donate true blood through the American Red Cross.

Each blood drive location will feature Buffy The Vampire Slayer Diaries-themed refreshment areas and exclusive footage will be featured on monitors. Participants will also receive swag for their good deed, including customized t-shirts.
Get ready for some Gossip guy-on-guy action this fall.In a Season 3 episode of Gossip Girl, Ed Westwick's womanizing Chuck Bass will share a smooch with another male character, according to EW. However, the lucky guy is not Nate, Dan, or even Serena's gay little brother. Instead, Chuck will swap spit with guest star Neal Bledsoe who makes a guest appearance in episode six as NYU's head of freshman affairs, Josh Ellis.

But guess who's behind the lip-lock: Chuck's ladylove, Blair. Apparently, she will stop at nothing to sway Josh into selecting her to deliver the honorable freshman speech — including offering up her boyfriend.
News of Scott Foley's casting in an upcoming episode of Law & Order: SVU inspired AOL to compile a list of other stars who deserve another chance to shine — including several who starred in much-loved but little watched shows that went to their deaths last season.

After storming out of American Idol in what equated to a very public huff, Paula Abdul is now unemployed. During last week's TV previews in Los Angeles, Fox execs said they were sad to see her go after a protracted contract dispute. Abdul also expressed her sadness in her initial tweet about her departure, but soon enough was talking about the "many wonderful offers" that have come her way since her announcement. (She's already filmed two guest spots for Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva and will reportedly drop in on this fall.)

MICKEY: It's no longer a rumor, Staci. Anders' participation "in a handful of episodes," according to my mole, is confirmed! While he definitely goes gay in the books, the TV version of Chuck Bass, teen soap Gossip Girl's resident lady-killin' fashionisto, is pretty firmly hetero. Well, at least he was.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting that ol' Chuckles will get kissy with another fella in a third season episode:
